Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Hazelight have released a new, co-op-centered trailer for the upcoming game, It Takes Two, and it shows off why “We’re Better Together.”
The director of the upcoming co-op title It Takes Two, Josef Fares, might be best-known for being an outspoken and outrageous creative director, but it’s safe to say he knows how to make an eye-catching game.
As well as declaring publicly that he’ll give you $1,000 if you become tired of It Takes Two, the confident director has also been showing off more gameplay lately. After the trailer we saw back in February, we’ve now seen a snippet of the game that focuses more on the co-operative aspect of what’s going on in the title.
“Invite a friend to join for free with Friend’s Pass, and experience a thrilling adventure built purely for two,” reads the press release with the trailer. “Choose from couch or online co-op with split-screen play, and face ever-changing challenges where working together is the only way forward.
“From rampaging vacuum cleaners to suave love gurus—with It Takes Two, you never know what you’re up against next. Filled with genre-bending challenges and new character abilities to master in every level, you’ll experience a metaphorical merging of gameplay and narrative that pushes the boundaries of interactive storytelling.”
It Takes Two launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Origin on March 26.
