Warzone patch fixes yet another infinite stim glitch, matches ending prematurely

Raven has been quick on the trigger pull this time, fixing two recent problems in Warzone.

Call of Duty: Warzone just received two patches. Developer Raven Software confirmed the patches specifically addresses two big issues that recently cropped up.

First, the problem of matches ending very early, seemingly as the result of a cheat, has been fixed. The infamous, infinite stim glitch had also returned for a day or so, before it got quickly fixed in this week’s patch.

Interestingly, the version of the infinite stim glitch that remerged was practically useless. Though players, after jumping through multiple hoops, could make it so they have infinite tacticals (including stim), they won’t actually be able to pull off what they used to. Namely: staying in the gas and winning the game.

We rolled out a #Warzone update yesterday addressing an issue that allowed matches to be ended prematurely.

That is because, for one, Raven’s recent infinite stim glitch fix made it so players cannot out-heal gas damage, meaning even if you manage to replicate the glitch, it won’t be anywhere near as effective as it used to. The new iteration of the glitch also breaks when the player runs, and restricts their arsenal to a single weapon.

This all makes it much less convenient for players to abuse, but it sadly doesn’t prevent some from doing it to get infinite tactical grenades, like stuns and flashes. For now, at least, you shouldn’t run into of that.

Separately, Raven also announced banning another wave of cheaters
