Avowed was missing from E3, but Obsidian promises to show something “soon”

Obsidian is busy working on Avowed, so busy, it’s not ready to show it off just yet.
That’s why Avowed was not shown during the Microsoft + Bethesda showcase today.

For those who are wondering about Avowed, Obsidian said it is hard at work making something it’s sure fans of its games Pillars of Eternity universe “are going to love.”
The studio said that while it is not showing anything right now, it is looking forward to showing it off “soon.”
Announced in July 2020 during an Xbox Games Showcase, the game was announced for PC and Xbox Series X.
The game is an RPG set in the world of Eora, the same world as Pillars of Eternity.
While not much is known about it, a leak from last year claims the map is bigger than Skyrim. It was said the game features two large cities, a real-time weather system, and a world that is reactive and interactive.

Replaced is a gorgeous sci-fi platformer coming to Xbox and PC in 2022

During today’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase, Sad Cat Studios and Coatsink announced a new gorgeous sci-fi platformer called Replaced, and its debut trailer blew us away.
As you can tell from the moody trailer below, Replaced is “a modernised cinematic platformer set in an alternative ‘80s where you play as R.E.A.C.H, an AI trapped in a human body against its will.” Sounds good, right?
On top of a cool premise, the game also boasts some stunning 2.5D graphics that explore “a dark alternative to the ‘80s” with a lush retro-futuristic style.
“Most of us think of the ‘80s as a time of questionable hairstyles, boom boxes, glam rock and the birth of iconic games like Pac-Man and Tetris; a simpler time (albeit with more glitter),” says Laura Barnwell, digital marketing Manager at Coatsink. “But what would the ‘80s have looked like in a past where the Trinity nuclear test in the ‘40s went wrong causing a bomb to explode and result in national devastation?

Feel like you need a bit of context for Dying Light 2: Stay Human ahead of its launch in December? Take a look at this PC Gaming Show video to help you put the pieces together.
Developer Techland has given us a little more information about Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s protagonist, Aiden, in a new video from today’s E3 2021 livestream.
The game, set in 2036, follows Aiden’s quest to find his sister in a hostile world brimming with Freakers (also known as zombies, in just about every other piece of zombie fiction). He was originally separated from his sister after the duo were subject to medical experimentation in their youth – a fire broke out and he managed to escape, but he’s been plagued with guilt about abandoning her ever since.
